The Wind and the Watcher

Todd Sanders’ mangled leg makes the escape impossible. They will be upon him soon, bringing all of their fury. No one in two decades has dared to do the foolish, yet necessary deed he has done. Even if it were possible, he does not want to return to his hellish existence back on Earth. There is no one to save him, not just from them, but from the whole disaster of stumbling into an unknown, enslaved world. The Great Forest of Korgan is entrenched in Darkness and the only one who could redeem it is lost. The Watcher abandoned his post. Hooded and cloaked, he rides beneath the menacing trees, searching for salvation that will never come.
It will never come... Unless the newcomer and his unexpected companion can change the ever bending will of a Forest.
