Description
Los Angeles-based Thomas Houseago (born 1972) draws reference to a multitude of styles such as Classicism, Cubism and Futurism for his intentionally clumsy forms, which are made out of plaster and found materials instead of the traditional bronze or marble. The large-scale structures included in this monograph thus appear incongruously flimsy for their size.
