Description
In a bustling Tokyo where the line between humanity and monstrosity blurs, shy college student Ken Kaneki finds himself caught in a perilous romance. His excitement over a date with the alluring Rize quickly devolves into a nightmare when he discovers her true nature as a ghoul—flesh-eating predators that lurk among ordinary people. This shocking revelation ignites a series of harrowing events, transforming Ken’s life forever.
As the dangerous world of ghouls begins to unravel before him, Ken grapples with his own identity. With each encounter, he must navigate where he stands—caught between the life he once knew and the terrifying reality that now surrounds him. Faced with the threat of becoming the prey, Ken must embrace a new existence that challenges his very humanity.
With dark, gripping narratives and compelling illustrations, the journey into the ominous depths of Tokyo’s underbelly reveals the struggle for survival against insurmountable odds. As Ken's metamorphosis unfolds, the reader is drawn deeper into a world filled with complex characters, ethical dilemmas, and the constant fight against an ever-present hunger.

Reviews
Loved everything about it, the story the artwork. I know I’m probably too old for manga at 38 but it’s just addictive. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
