Description
A Tottenham fan for 70 years, the author takes a nostalgic journey back to the days of
Ramsey, Ditchburn, Clarke and Nicholson, through the intervening years that
spawned the great Double-winning team in the early '60s and later showcased the
talents of Greaves, Chivers, Peters, Hoddle, Ardiles, Gascoigne, Lineker and Ginola,
up to the present day. His narrative is sprinkled with reminiscences, stories,
anecdotes, statistics, observations and a few opinions – some of which are expressed
with telling candour – and seeks to offer the reader something of the flavour of what
it means to be a dedicated supporter.
