This book was a roller coaster ride from page one, leaving my head spinning like a top! Never in a million years did I see those plot twists coming. But let me tell you, from the start, I had a gut feeling that Debbie was the worst,like, seriously, the absolute worst. And Finn and Dave? Oh, please! They acted like they didn’t notice Debbie’s shenanigans. She was determined to mold her kid into her own mini-me, and boy, did she succeed. Finn, though, had the last laugh. Poor Mia, I felt for her; she just wanted a family and ended up in a chaotic circus. If you're craving a thriller that keeps you on your toes and a jaw-dropping ending, this is the read for you!
This one kept me guessing, but it kinda dragged on a bit and got a little too far-fetched towards the end. I liked the news articles that were spread throughout, offering more insight into the events, and the multiple perspectives given in the changing POV chapters. I liked the ambiguity and mystery of solving the identity behind the killer’s chapters. It was an entertaining read overall, but not one that had me racing to pick it back up.
I really liked the twists and turns, I was left speechless for real. Debbie annoyed me a lot and I didn't feel sorry for her, just nervous, she was really sick. The ending took away from what I wanted to give the book (I wanted to give it 5 stars) I would have liked a happier ending, not one with "history repeating itself" in the end. It was a great book, I don't feel like I wasted my time with it so that's a plus. Now I feel a little scared because it's midnight when I finish the book but I'll have a romantic book and get back to normal :))). Overall, good book, ok characters, the ending ruined it for me unfortunately.
