I looove the whole vibe of this book
Like forbidden royalty princess kinda vibe
And i love Bridget caracter
Despite her being a royalty princess i think she is such a understandable caracter and i really loved how powerful she was despite her loneliness and fears
She literally took control of the parliament!!!
And i really broke at Rhys past i think she has one of the saddest pasts in twisted series but i really didn't like the dynamic between them u know it wasn't that existing (beside the forbidden princess bodyguard plot)
And i think the book was a bit boring
Like the last 100 pages were amaaaazing
But before that i was low-key bored and i think the story could've been more rushed
Rhys and Bridget. Ugh I'm in love! These two! This was so wonderfully written and Ana Huang is quickly becoming a favourite author. This is my second book (the first being Twisted Love) and I'm so madly in love with her stories! I went in blind, only knowing what was told in the first book, that Bridget is a princess and Rhys her bodyguard. I didn't realize how slow this was going to burn and I'm so not upset. It's told over the course of a few years and we get to see them slowly fall in love. Rhys has a troubled past from his upbringing and the Navy and he is not interested in love. Bridget carries a lot of responsibility as the princess, especially when she finds out she must become Queen - something she didn't want. Through all the troubles they encounter, the sneaking around, the law, these two end up fighting for their love and come out so strong. Such a beautiful read!

5⭐/5At first I thought that this book will be like the one before an average book I can find it in any Wattpad novels but while reading through the chapters I laughed cried enjoyed every moment between Rhys and Bridget, they make me change my thoughts about the twisted seriesI loved every single detail about them and I will miss them a lot
Tengo mucho que decirte, esta historia va con las expectativas a medias y con expectativas bajas, pero fueron momentos los que marcaron que me gustara y mucho, porque yo le daría 1000 estrellas y se quedaría corto, fue un libro muy bueno lo disfruté muchísimo tanto que me lo acabé rapidísimo. Y guau guau Rhys que hombre por dios a mí a todo el libro, la historia todo todo todo todo todo sin duda es un buen libro que te atrapa quiero leer más de ellos, específicamente de ellos dos, quiero saber más de su vida más de su historia. Quiero más, porque disfruté tanto libro que me metí tanto en la historia, lo que provocó que me obsesionará con la historia con los personajes y necesito más, simplemente exquisito. Este libro fue toda una experiencia y lo amé tanto
How did I read a 450 page romance and felt like the relationship still wasn't developed properly? Like... I don't understand why or how they fell in love 🤷🏻♀️
I thought this was a good book. It took me a little while to pick it up as I didn't really enjoy the first book (Twisted Love). This book is way better. It has good character development. It's enemies (ish) to lovers, age gap, royal × bodyguard. It was one of the longer romance books I have read, but it didn't feel that way. I constantly wanted to get back to reading it, eager to get home so I could continue. 100% recommend it, don't be put off by the size!
