Thomas is sent to London as Margurite seems to have gone missing.Bastien hooks him up with transport, accommodation and everyone seems to have forgotten his best worker/executive Inez. Thomas arrives at his hotel to have this woman yelling at him in Portuguese, while he was getting a run down from Bastien, he tells him about Inez coming to assist him, (which explains the angry woman). he apologises and then finds out that they are lifemates. but margeruite has to be found. and then there is the problem of Inez being controlled by another immortal.poor Thomas.The aregeneau series seems to have the same format. Immortal meets mortal, convinces them that immortals exist and here's the kicker...they are the immortal equivalent of soul mates!yet somehow Ms. sands keeps this series fresh, with a new storyline each time.with humor and very hot sex scenes( can't forget those), and a dash of mystery.it is an excellent recipe for what I think is an excellent series!
