Roger Fulright has lead a simple life in Oklahoma, but hes always known that he sat on the verge of something larger. Now, hes about to find out how far the world beyond his own stretches. On a planet far different from his own, strange creatures known as Obawok watch Rogers every move, studying him and planning for his arrival. These beings consider themselves the controllers of humanity, destined to bring those they deem unworthy to their world for a test none have ever survived. Caught between the Obawok who side with humans and those who wish them dead, Roger finds himself in the middle of a burgeoning civil war where his mere presence is about to change everything.
