Westward Rails

The West was turbulent after the Civil War with people going west for new starts. Cattle ranches were in Wyoming and Dakotas, and the ranchers still had to get to railheads until the branches could be built. There were rail camps, new immigrants, camp followers, gamblers, etc. With US Marshals to cover territories, local sheriffs, and vigilantes, it was a turbulent time in American history. The stories in this anthology represent the people and places that were settled in that determined push for new land and opportunities for a new life. The Phoenix Prime authors that have contributed to this anthology have created immersive stories of varying lengths to entertain and transport you into a world of times before. Sit back and be prepared to be carried into the wild West.
