Whalefall

Jay Gardiner embarks on a seemingly impossible locating his late father's remains in the Pacific Ocean near California. Though he's aware of the slim chances, Jay believes this is his sole path to alleviating the guilt he's carried since his father's passing a year ago. Initially, the dive proceeds smoothly, but the situation rapidly escalates when a colossal squid appears, and a hungry sperm whale soon joins the scene, placing Jay in grave danger.
