When Comes Such Another

When Aliss Elizabeth’s father brings home a dog called Whu that mysteriously appeared in his laboratory, their cozy life begins to turn upside down, or at the least tilt sharply. Whu’s presence disrupts space around him in often hilarious ways that the world needs and the government would like to understand and control. To keep Whu safe, Aliss Elizabeth, her father, and Whu are forced to flee from Cambridge to New York City and then back to Massachusetts, with the police and the army in hot pursuit. Through all their adventures, Whu uses his strange powers to show them how the behavior of the inhabitants of his universe could help people in ours.
