A second volume of memoir by a gay man who, at the age of twenty-nine, left the music business having worked with Cat Stevens, Elton John, Queen, Kiki Dee and many others in the nineteen-seventies and began life again with a lover and a shop full of antiques. After an emotional break-up, the author moved back to his home town of Malvern in Worcestershire and opened a restaurant used as an afternoon haunt by the restless boys and girls of the local public schools. Returning to London, he continued the promiscuous and frantic lifestyle with old friends such as Freddie Mercury, Kenny Everett and Tim Curry until a bout of hepatitis laid him low.
