Where's Molly

It was fine, and thankfully not nearly as dark as the other books in the series, which was honestly a nice change. I still don’t understand the obsession with blood play throughout these books. I get that some readers are into it, but did every single character really need to have the same kink?I did like Cage and Molly together, though. My biggest issue was that the story focused more on Molly reuniting with Cage than on her reunion with Layla. Molly’s entire motivation throughout the series was escaping that house to save Layla, so it felt disappointing that we barely got to see how their relationship developed afterward. Considering how important Layla was to her character arc, their reunion deserved a lot more attention.

I went into Where’s Molly without having read the first two books in the series, since I was buddy reading this one with a friend. While the premise was intriguing and I liked the tension surrounding Molly’s disappearance, I often felt like I was missing important context that would have made the story more impactful.One of my biggest hang-ups was wanting more background on Molly’s life during the eight months she was missing. That period felt glossed over, and I would have loved deeper insight into what she experienced, how it shaped her, and how it influenced her decisions once she returned.I also struggled with the romance. Instant love tropes aren’t really my thing, and the relationship developed so quickly that it pulled me out of the story instead of drawing me in emotionally.Overall, it wasn’t a bad read, but I think I would have enjoyed it more with more character depth and a slower, more developed emotional arc—especially given the heavy subject matter.

Being able to read Mollys story through more than just diary entries was so much better than expected. I am so ready to read the rest of Mollys story. Her story is pure heartbreak. But I loved every minute of it.
