Whooo's Calling

Who doesn’t like a scary Halloween story—especially one that takes place in a graveyard? “Whooo’s Calling?”is the first in the series, The Henthorne Boys’ Holiday, and it takes place on Halloween in the scariest of cemeteries. It will not only entertain you, but it will also scare the be-jeepers out of the faint of heart.

Caleb and his brother Tyler really should not have slipped out of their bed in a seedy motel, while their dad was asleep. But earlier in the evening, they had driven past a creepy-looking graveyard, which was only a few hundred yards from where they were staying. After all, it’s Halloween, and like any teenagers or preteens, they can’t resist taking a trip down the block to roam through the tombs of those who have moved on from this quaint little town.

As soon as they enter the graveyard, Caleb texts his friend, Mitch, to boast about where he and his brother are at two o’clock in the morning. After a few exchanges, they are interrupted by a very interesting (and scary) message. Who sent it? Unfortunately, the intruder isn’t content with communicating only by way of the cell phone. Caleb feels the icy breath of an unseen energy that is spewing anger at him because the boys have interrupted the peace of the solemn community. Soon the whole “community” is taunting them.

The boys are threatened and separated. What had started out as a fun adventure has turned into a quest to escape the night of horror.
