Description
"Noah was a righteous man," says Isaac Bashevis Singer, so he and his family were to be saved from the flood. But rumor had it that only the best of all living creatures were to be taken aboard the Ark with Noah.
In a fresh and lively approach to the age-old account, Isaac Bashevis Singer sets down the dialogue of the animals as they vie with one another for a place on the Ark.
