Description
A New Beginning is composed of thirty-nine sculptures that depict large roses and garden detritus such as bubblegum wrappers, cigarette butts, a bottle cap, and a bag of chips. Sculptures of ladybugs, flies, aphids, and beetles populate the flowers. The roses, ranging in height from two to almost seven feet, are installed throughout the gallery as a complete garden to be explored.
