With Courage

At first they may seem to have little in common. But look again. They are all Americans. They all became well-known during the last fifty years or so. Most importantly, each of these women was a pioneer. They didn't set out to change their worlds ... but that's what happened. Each of these women had the courage to go beyond the limits that society had set for her. Despite resistance from others, they each kept going. They had the courage to believe in themselves and their abilities. This courage is the link that draws these women together. Because of their courage, they each had a part in changing America.
