This Volume 2, like the first, is not comprehensive, but again references and expounds many scriptures and teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith in order to illustrate what the latter-day Restoration was intended to accomplish, an initiated, yet unachieved objective. It provides the characteristics of the church of Christ and scriptural tests for legal administrators in order to identify true Apostles and Prophets. It provides nearly 1,100 references, making many comparisons to repeating patterns and histories along with associated prophecies in an attempt to put into context what has occurred in the nearly 200-year period since the Prophet Joseph lived. These are expounded to assist the reader in understanding what, when, how, and why changes in the Church have occurred in recent years and how to obtain the necessary spiritual nutrition for survival during the current transition period and future ordeals.
