View AllI really enjoyed this standalone story. It deal's with depression and the angst of being a teenager, sibling and feeling invisible within a family. All things I recognize, have seen my mum, myself, kids and grandkids go through. There are times in everyone's life when you feel like the world has become too much.Again Ms Hoover has written a book that beings the reader along to discover and consider how we all misinterpret those around us, and to maybe, stop and discuss, rather than hide problems away.
This book made me cry in a bad and good way. 😭 I love Sagan and Merit's relationship and the way it builds throughout the story. Also Sagan in general. This has to one of my top 2 Colleen Hoover books 📚 fr."Not every mistake deserves a consequence. Sometimes the only thing it deserves is forgiveness." (Favorite quote)
I want to be a fly on the wall in the end for the thing we dont get to be a part of... why not include 1 session. Just one... ugh. So good.
