View AllMaize and Gavin....oh where do I start.....I was really looking forward to Maize’s story because of she entered the world of The Bishop Family (and if you haven’t read Chasing Him, the story of her parents you should). I really wanted Maize to get her HEA and I am so glad she gets that chance.Gavin and Maize started out like most “young” couples do by meeting at a bar and having a chance hot hot hot encounter. Maize does not believe that she can find true happiness and Gavin is there to prove her wrong! Gavin. This man was swoon worthy. He was a cowboy that loved Maize so hard from the beginning, but I love how he didn't take anything from her. I even loved how he made her work for it toward the end after everything she put him through.Maize. This girl made me want to scream majority of the book. She was a stubborn bishop that didn't communicate. However, I loved seeing her vulnerable side when she was with Gavin and let her guard down.Whether it's yummy Bishop men or yummy men trying to wrangle the Bishop girls, these men are always off the charts. The chemistry between Gavin and Maize was off the charts and the tension made this book! Plus, I loved how we continued to see the tight fit group that the Bishops have became and how much they love each other. Gavin and Maize's story was so sweet from the beginning, and the moments they had to bond and grow their relationship was oh so sweet.I recommend reading this book but there are intertwined characters from other books in this series and The Bishop Brothers series too so you would better understand it if you read the back stories of everyone!
The bishop books grab you from the start and pull you in, this cat and mouse game has to wanting more never wanting to out the book down.
