Y2K, The Novel

This is a mystery/suspense novel set in the months leading up to and shortly after the millennium. Sean Schuster, a hot tempered but brilliant computer scientist, is working to help the country enter the new millennium with as few disruptions as possible. But in so doing, he threatens the plans of unscrupulous people, one working in the White House, to bilk the American public out of hundreds of millions of dollars. While Sean fights with the President and the Congress to get measures passed to ease the transition, he must also struggle to save his own life and the lives of his wife and children from unknown adversaries. When finally he is in a position to unmask the criminals, he finds out that the cost may be the Presidency.
