I can remember about 10 years ago reading a quote from Bill Gates who said, “In a few years there will be two kinds of businesses, those on the Internet, and those out of business”.
At this point in time, I feel comfortable saying, “In a few years there will be two kinds of businesses; those interacting with the customers and clients on Twitter and Facebook and those out of business”.
Have you noticed how many businesses are suddenly using their Facebook and Twitter ID’s in their advertising campaigns? It seems that every TV and radio commercial ends with either “Follow us on Twitter” or “Like us on Facebook”.
Small business owners can no longer afford to ignore this and keep their heads in the sand!
