View AllI enjoyed this book so much. Maybe because I'm a sucker for super heros but this was unexpected. Such an incredible experience with very quick pacing
Another blind book. My 7 year old daughter actually picked this one for me, simply because the wrapper was her favorite color. I honestly wasn’t really looking forward to reading it. Even though I like sci-fi movies, it’s not typically what I’d choose to read. But I was so pleasantly surprised with this book! A different kind of hero/origin story.

Definitely different than her later books, but still enjoyable. I really enjoyed the ending. Quote:“Plenty of humans were monstrous, and plenty of monsters knew how to play at being human.”
