View All3.5 stars“A single revelation does not change a life. It is a start.”I didn't love this as much as I loved Every Heart A Doorway. The beginning was a little bit dull but it picked up in the middle where Jack was in a relationship with Alexis. It was so beautiful. I enjoyed reading Jack and Jill's backstory and the atmosphere of The Moors was really creepy. I also loved the skethchy illustrations. Overall, the story was interesting and compelling, but I definitely liked Every Heart A Doorway a bit more. I'm looking forward to reading the last book.
This is such a good book for a short story. I really liked to see the characters background from book 1. I think this is a good way to use the all knowing narrative without it being confusing or annoying. I will definitely continue this series.
