"A dragon without its rider is a tragedy. A rider without their dragon is dead."This was good. I get the hype like this might be the first time tt didn’t fail with the recommendation. The book was so engaging, from chapter 1 it got you hooked and just made you fall deeper and deeper into the world.

I can't even process what just happened in those last pages!!!!!!! oh my god this is a 6 fuckin stars book and sue me for this .Xaden Riorson my new all-time favorite book boyfriend ever HELLO the "You gave me your heart, and I’m keeping it". I just can't with him !!!!!!!!
Las primeras páginas no me lograban de atrapar, se sienten lentas, pero después si es más fácil de leer. Creo que este primer libro, planta todo lo que es la historia, los personajes, como está estructurado el mundo, los dragones, etc. Para mí los personajes que me cayeron bien (que sean principales) fueron Xaden y Tairn, los dos son sarcásticos, me hicieron reír, y que odian a Dain (me había caído bien pero también lo odio) Lo único que me gustó de Violet es que es muy inteligente.
The ending was shocking and for someone who doesn't really like fantasy...its really good.

Congratulations Rebecca Yarros, you're the first author to make me cry in 2023. I don't often cry whilst reading books. It hardly ever happens. Like maybe once or twice in the past 3 years.I went through so many emotions in this book that it's unreal. Happy, sad, excited and sometimes straight-up anxious. Honestly, I knew I was a goner from the beginning. I was hooked after maybe the first 3 or 4 chapters. I wasn't bored once the entire time I was reading which recently has been happening a lot. Booktok/Bookstagram hyped up the right book for once.Did I buy book 2 as soon as I finished this? I sure as hell did!
The main plot was good, but the love story could've been spun better. Something like a mix between the love triangle in 'The Selection' and ACOTAR would've been much more interesting to see from romantic stand point, and it would've made more sense. In terms of 😏romantic😏 stand point the detailing is amazing and relatable. After all that's why most people read this book 🤭
“I will not die today.”Que viaje tan increíble ha sido este libro de verdad todo el hype que se ha visto y el boom ha sido merecido no decae en ningún momento, te mete desde primera hora en la historia sin bombardearte con información dándotela de a poquito y ocurriendo cosas al mismo tiempoLos personajes!! ay mis niños es que los amo, Violet, Xaden, Liam, Rhi, Ridoc ♥ y los dragones que los amo infinito porque sufro yo no vamos a sufrir por los propios personajes sino por los dragones tb y no quiero :(La OTP me ha maravillado ha sido un balance perfecto de sus escenas, amaba sus conversaciones, como Xaden siempre la ha defendido y las escenas hot ay lasdfkjñlafjñlajfsEl personaje odiado esperando a que muera ya sabemos de quien estamos hablandoY el worlbuilding y todo lo que rodea al mundo es una autentica pasada me muero por releer el libro en español de nuevo ay ♥Y vivirlo y comentarlo con mi Jess lo mejor como siempre
