View All⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Sometimes, those monsters seem worse simply because we haven’t turned on the lights.”The Sparrow Falls series continues to exceed every expectation I had. Broken Harbor follows Sutton and Cope, two characters we’ve gradually gotten to know throughout the earlier books, and I absolutely loved their story.Like the others in the series, this book is filled with love, resilience, healing, and finding a place to truly call home. There’s nothing I enjoy more than watching characters earn their happily ever after while seeing those who don’t deserve one finally face the consequences they do deserve. I also appreciated the layers and depth behind every character. I think it’s important that the story shows how someone’s history can explain their actions without excusing them.If you’ve loved the previous books in this series or enjoy contemporary romance with emotional depth and plenty of heart, this is definitely one to pick up. I do recommend starting with book one, though, since the characters and storylines overlap throughout the series.Tropes: Single mom, trauma, grief and healing, protective MMC, found family, small town
