View AllEver since reading the Hunger Games trilogy, I have been in love with the dystopian genre. The Maze Runner seems to bring a new sense of disturbance to the dystopian genre. Living in a disease-ridden world inside a giant stone maze, ensnared by horrifying crearures is definitely a new level. Though the narrative style is definitely worth a debate, it's an action-packed novel with many twists and turns.
